Simon Davie
Vice-President

Simon is the Vice-President of Lu’ma Development Management and the Chief Executive Officer of the Terra group of companies. Simon joined Terra in 1998 and has been a principal of Terra Social Purpose Real Estate since 2003 with specialized expertise in deal origination for social housing development. He oversees all Terra development work in British Columbia.  

Simon co-founded Lu’ma Development Management in 2017 and moved all of Terra’s Indigenous business to LDM. This resulted in significant growth in new clients as well as hiring and developing capacity with Indigenous staff. His role includes directing all development work. Terra and LDM have worked extensively with Indigenous groups to develop housing, build community capacity and empower communities. Current and completed projects provide over 1900 units for Indigenous singles, families and elders.

Simon is frequently sought as a guest speaker/panelist at housing events, providing expertise in financing for social purpose real estate projects and innovative partnerships.

Prior to joining Terra, Simon worked in construction management, property management and marketing. Simon graduated from Queens University with a BA in Urban Geography, holds a Certificate in Real Estate Appraisal from Langara College in Vancouver and has completed professional development courses at UBC and MIT.
