Development Manager

Allan joined Lu’ma Development Management in 2024 as Development Manager and is a 30 year veteran of construction and development industry. Prior to joining Luma Development Management, Allan worked on a wide range of projects including The Sun Rivers master planned community on Indigenous Land in his native Kamloops, British Columbia; The Mole Hill Community Housing Project in the West End of Vancouver; and has provided Project Manager and Development Management Services to multi family residential projects in West Vancouver at The Argyle and The Properties projects.

Known as an effective innovator and collaborator, Allan has been recognized for sustainable design and construction, incorporating passive house principles and environmentally responsible practices in his projects. At the Mole Hill Community Housing Project, the first urban geothermal installation was undertaken in the preservation and restoration of 26 heritage homes into 168 units of social housing in collaboration with The Mole Hill Community Housing Society, BC Housing, The City of Vancouver and Terra Social Purpose Real Estate.

Allan has served as past president of the Canadian Homebuilders Association (Thompson Okanagan region), past board member of the Vancouver Heritage Foundation and current board member of the Alano Club of Vancouver, serving those in recovery from addiction. Allan studied economics and urban geography at The University of Victoria.
