Wyatt McLeod
Development Coordinator
Wyatt is Ojibwe and Metis, and is a member of Animakee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation in Northwestern Ontario.
Wyatt joined Lu’ma Development Management as a Development Coordinator in 2025. In his role, he supports Development Managers in creating proposals, advising clients, managing schedules, producing estimates, and ensuring satisfactory project delivery among many other project-related tasks.
Prior to joining Lu’ma Development Management, Wyatt worked as a Project Coordinator at Defence Construction Canada for two years, where he oversaw all aspects of several complex Department of Defence infrastructure projects. In this role, he managed dynamic schedules and budgets, in addition to creating forecasts, presentations, option analyses, design/construction contracts, and cost estimates. He has a passion for the efficiency of operations and is always looking to improve his own work process as well his colleagues’. He enjoys a challenging task and does not shy away from a unique problem.
Wyatt holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours, Specialization in Management) from the University of Ottawa. During his studies, he volunteered at Tanglewood-Hillsdale Community Association in Ottawa ON, where he led a project team to formulate a comprehensive community engagement strategy for the suburb. Upon the plan’s completion, the team received the “Neighbourhood Builders” award from the Association, which is the most prestigious award they can bestow to any member.
Outside of work, Wyatt has a passion for the outdoors and spends most of his free time either hiking, off-roading, fishing or walking his dog. When not outside, you can find him making and listening to music, watching movies, reading non-fiction books, or playing chess.
